What is the best training
There are many ways to gain welding skills. High School, Postsecondary, Private Schools, The Military, Apprenticeships, trial and error, YouTube, and I’m sure others. In no case is any one of these methods all inclusive of everything there is to learn in welding. If you want some information from the best and most influential welding educator in the world, go subscribe to https://www.youtube.com/@weldingtipsandtricks
The key is your level of interest in learning more, practicing, and getting better.
What I can provide.
Though I have been in the welding industry for over 40 years, I am by no means an expert on all things welding however those areas in which I am experienced, I am glad to share that! I can help you as an individual with a few minutes of my time to maybe help you get “over a hump” trying to figure something out. I can also provide more dedicated long term training for individuals or groups.
I can provide skills training for GTAW (TIG), GMAW (MIG), FCAW (Flux Core), and SMAW (Stick). I have skills in each of those processed that have provided me employment over the years. I am not an “Expert” in any one, but pretty decent with each of them.
I can provide training at my shop for up to 4 people. I can also travel to your location and provide training for groups.
I can help you with very basic welder training or help you improve skills to allow you to past specific tests and maybe become an AWS Certified Welder for a specific code, process, position etc,
Welding education can be a lifetime process. You will never learn everything which is great because if you love welding, you can wake up every day with something new to learn.
Prices.
For simple questions and a few minutes of my time, the fee is 0 per hour. I will gladly meet with you at my shop and go over some things for up to an hour and there is no charge. If you need more face to face training after that, I have a minimum charge of $35.00 per hour for individuals and multiple individuals who would like to “rent me” can combine their resources. For companies, this rate may go up.
God has blessed me with being able to have a job doing something I enjoy. I enjoy sharing that skill with anyone else who is interested. If I can make a little $$$ while doing it, that’s great. Always feel free to just call me if you have some welding questions. I can provide welding consulting services beyond welder training if needed. Feel free to contact me.
